Squabbler

Somebody had to be wrong. Now something decides.

Put one phone between you, argue out loud, and a referee with a real voice scores both sides 0–100.

Get it on the App Store Free to download. No account needed.
1One phone, two people, hit record.
2Argue. Out loud, over each other, however you actually argue.
3The ref listens, waits for a gap, and calls what he just heard. He never talks over you.
4Both sides get scored 0–100. Someone wins, and it goes on your head-to-head record.

Pick your referee

Fair Ref

Calls it straight down the middle and crowns whoever actually won. He will tell you when you are both wrong.

Drunk Ref

Scores just as honestly, then goes off the rails roasting both sides. Read the room before you pick this one.

Frequently asked questions

How do I use it?

Put one phone between you and whoever you're arguing with, tap TAP TO RECORD on the home screen, and argue out loud. The referee listens, chimes in during the gaps, and scores both sides when you stop.

What's free, and what's Pro?

Free gives you 2 arguments per day with a 2½-minute recording limit. Squabbler Pro — $10.99/month, or $99.99/year — unlocks unlimited arguments and raises the recording limit to 5 minutes a round.

How do I restore my subscription?

Open the app → SettingsRestore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple ID you subscribed with.

How do I cancel?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone or iPad: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Squabbler → Cancel. You keep Pro until the end of the current period.

Make sure you're on the latest version with a stable connection and try again. If it keeps happening, email rolledrichards@gmail.com and we'll help.

How is my data handled?

There are no accounts, and your past arguments are stored only on your device. The one exception: if you send a fight to another phone, we briefly store just that result (scores and verdict, never the recording) so their phone can save it. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
